About This Item
This DipaliZ placemat is 100% cotton and measures 18 by 14 inches. Christmas decorations are printed across the cotton surface. The listing covers a single placemat, so a setting for a whole table needs several added together. Cotton is the practical choice for a festive table because it washes rather than wipes. The material and the size come from this listing's own record.

The story behind this design
A placemat spends its working life half covered by a plate, which is why the decorations here are weighted to the edges and the corners rather than the middle. The center third is kept calm so a dinner plate does not crop the best part of the artwork, and the festive motifs run right to the border so the mat still reads as Christmas when a table is fully laid. At 18 by 14 inches it takes a dinner plate and a glass without crowding.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is this DipaliZ placemat made of?
A: The placemat is 100% cotton.
Q: What size is the placemat?
A: 18 by 14 inches, the single size on this listing.
Q: How many placemats does an order include?
A: This listing is for a single placemat, so a table setting for four needs four added to the cart.
Q: What is printed on the placemat?
A: Christmas decorations, printed on the cotton surface.
Q: Can the placemat be washed?
A: Yes. Cotton washes well, which is the practical argument for a fabric placemat over a wipeable one at a meal where food is being passed around.
Care
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low or line dry. Warm iron on the reverse if a crisp finish is wanted; do not iron directly over the print.
