The story behind this design
Parcels are stacked rather than lined up in this design, which gives a small round face a sense of height. Ribbons run across the boxes at angles, breaking up what would otherwise be a block of flat rectangles. The palette is kept to two or three gift-paper colors so the pile does not turn into visual noise at ornament scale.
