About This Item
This DipaliZ gift wrap is a satin-finish paper in a deep navy, printed with reindeer and snowflakes. Two sheet sizes are sold, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. A dark ground is unusual for Christmas wrap and makes pale ribbon stand out sharply against it. Winter gifts and Christmas parcels for someone who dislikes red and green are the obvious use.

The story behind this design
Most Christmas paper is light with dark motifs, and reversing that changes what the sheet does in a room. Against deep navy the snowflakes read as actual falling snow caught in a night sky rather than as decoration on a page, and the reindeer become silhouettes. The satin finish is what keeps the navy from going flat and dull, giving it a slight depth as the parcel turns.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this navy gift wrap come in?
A: Two sheet sizes, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches.
Q: What is the paper finish?
A: Satin. It is the only finish offered on this listing.
Q: What is printed on the navy ground?
A: Reindeer and snowflakes, which read as silhouettes and falling snow against the dark paper.
Q: How does this differ from the DipaliZ gingerbread gift wrap?
A: This is a dark navy sheet with reindeer and snowflakes. The gingerbread wrap is a warm brown sheet with houses, candy canes and cookies. Both are satin, in the same two sizes.
Care
Store the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and keep it somewhere dry, since damp softens paper and a crease shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge.
