The story behind this design
The snowflakes are drawn as fine six-armed crystals at mixed sizes, spaced loosely enough that the glass behind them stays the dominant surface. Because the pattern is printed in a cool white it reads as frost on the outside of a cold glass, which is a neat trick on drinkware: the decoration suggests the temperature. Nothing about it says December except the crystals themselves, so the glass survives into January without looking stranded.
