DipaliZ Christmas Tree Glass Cutting Board Tempered Glass

This DipaliZ cutting board is made from tempered glass and printed with a decorated Christmas tree. The board is offered in a large and a small size. Glass does not soak up smells from garlic, onion or fish, so the board stays neutral between jobs. It doubles as a serving surface when the chopping is done.

The story behind this design

The tree is drawn full of ornaments rather than as a tidy silhouette, with baubles, beads and a star crowded along every branch. Deep green needles carry warm metallic ornament tones, and the background is left clear so the glass itself becomes part of the picture. On a worktop it reads as a decoration first and a board second.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is this a glass board or a wooden one?
A: This is a tempered glass cutting board. There is no wood or bamboo in it.

Q: What sizes does the DipaliZ cutting board come in?
A: The board is offered in two sizes, large and small.

Q: Will the board hold onto food smells?
A: No. Tempered glass does not absorb odors the way a porous board does, so it stays neutral between uses.

Q: Can I use it as a serving board?
A: Yes. The printed face makes it usable as a serving or display board as well as a chopping surface.

Care

Wash by hand with warm soapy water and dry with a cloth. Do not cut on the printed face with a serrated blade and do not put the board over direct heat.
