About This Item
This DipaliZ mug is a glossy ceramic mug with a C-shaped grip, printed with a decorated Christmas tree. Two capacities are listed, 11oz and 15oz, and three colors: Black, Red and Green. The C-shaped handle is an open curve rather than a closed loop, so it takes two or three fingers comfortably. The ceramic body is glazed to a gloss, which is what makes the printed colors sit bright rather than chalky. The mug suits Christmas morning coffee, an office secret-santa exchange, or a kitchen that gets a seasonal set of mugs out every December.

The story behind this design
The tree is drawn hung with every kind of decoration at once: striped candy canes, round baubles, strings of beads and a lopsided star. The colors are deliberately unmatched, reds against turquoise against mustard, because the design is meant to look like a tree decorated by a family over many years rather than styled for a photograph. It reads as cheerful clutter, which is the warmest thing a Christmas tree can be.
