The story behind this design
The artwork divides the sock into irregular quadrilaterals, each filled with its own small motif — dashes in one, concentric arcs in another, flat solid color in a third — as though several unrelated paintings had been cut up and rejoined. Nothing lines up across the seams between blocks, and that mismatch is the point. The palette is unapologetically full-spectrum, with hot pink and cobalt doing most of the shouting.
