About This Item
This is an arctic fleece throw blanket by DipaliZ. Arctic fleece traps air in a brushed pile, so it warms quickly and holds heat well for its weight without the bulk of a sherpa throw. Three sizes are offered: 30 by 40 inches, 50 by 60 inches and 60 by 80 inches. The blanket suits a cold living room, a spare bed or a car, and it folds down small enough to keep in a cupboard rather than on display.

The story behind this design
The look here is Nordic rather than rustic, which is a real distinction: Nordic means restraint, cool neutrals and geometry, where rustic means warm browns and scenery. The artwork stays in that cooler register, so the blanket sits comfortably in a pale room with light wood and does not try to turn it into a cabin. It is the DipaliZ blanket that most readily disappears into an existing scheme rather than announcing itself.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this DipaliZ arctic fleece blanket come in?
A: Three sizes: 30 by 40 inches, 50 by 60 inches and 60 by 80 inches.
Q: What is arctic fleece?
A: A brushed fleece that traps air in its pile. It warms up quickly and holds heat well for its weight, and it is lighter than sherpa.
Q: Is it warm enough for a cold room?
A: Yes. Arctic fleece is a good choice for a drafty living room and is light enough to carry between rooms, unlike a heavy sherpa throw.
Q: How does this differ from the DipaliZ sherpa blankets?
A: Arctic fleece is thinner, lighter and folds away more easily. Sherpa has a deep curled pile, is warmer for its size and is considerably heavier.
Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or air dry. Do not iron. Avoid fabric softener, which mats a brushed fleece pile and flattens it over time.
