The story behind this design
A chevron is one of the few patterns that survives being crumpled, because the eye keeps finding the line even when the cloth folds across it. Here the zigzag is drawn wide and shallow in a single navy against an off-white ground, with no secondary color at all. Restraint is the point: a blanket lives on a sofa for years, and a busy pattern wears out its welcome long before the fleece does.
