The story behind this design
Florals on sherpa have to be drawn bigger than florals anywhere else, because the curled pile softens every edge and swallows fine stems. This design answers that with large open blooms and thick petals in dusty rose and sage, spaced well apart so the pile has room to blur them without turning the pattern to mush. Against the Beige backing it reads warm and faded, almost like an old quilt; on Grey it cools down and the sage comes forward.
