This is a velveteen plush throw blanket by DipaliZ in a soft micro velvet. Micro velvet is a velveteen microfiber with a very short dense pile, so it feels smoother than fleece and drapes closely rather than sitting stiffly. Three sizes are offered: 30 by 40 inches, 50 by 60 inches and 60 by 80 inches. The smallest is a pram and lap size and the largest covers a double bed.

Micro velvet does something no other blanket fabric in the range does: because the pile is short and directional, the surface changes shade depending on which way it is brushed. A single neutral colorway therefore behaves like two, light where the pile lies flat and deeper where it is pushed back.
