The story behind this design
The joke is the whole design. A round-shelled crab sits with both claws raised in mild protest under script words that admit what everybody born under Cancer has heard before. The drawing is soft-edged and the lettering is loose, so the candle teases rather than mocks, and adding somebody's own name to it turns the line into an inside joke.

Care
Trim the wick to about a quarter of an inch before every burn and stand the jar on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts. Let the first burn run long enough for the melted wax to reach the edge of the glass, which helps the candle burn down evenly afterwards. Keep the lit candle within sight and away from children and pets, and stop burning once about half an inch of wax is left in the jar.
