The story behind this design
This design assembles a small crowd of dogs — floppy ears, tilted heads, bright attentive eyes — drawn in warm creams, soft tans and muted browns so the animals stay the loudest thing on an otherwise quiet page. The linework is rounded and unfussy, closer to a children’s picture book than to a breed chart. The mood is affectionate and a little comic, which is why it reads well on a kitchen wall where the whole household sees it.
