The story behind this design
Setting the phrase as an approval stamp rather than plain lettering is what makes it funny: a stamp is official, and granting a dad joke official status is the joke doing its own work. The mark is printed in blue, a color borrowed from real rubber stamp ink, and sits at an angle so the sheet looks franked rather than designed. Everything below stays clear for writing, as it has to on a pad someone is meant to use.
The sizes and paper color above come from this pad's own specification.
Frequently asked questions

Q: What sizes does it come in?
A: The DipaliZ Dad Jokes Approved Note Pad is offered in a 3 inch by 3 inch size and a 4 inch by 4 inch size.
