The story behind this design
A cropped body gives the print less room than a dress does, so the dandelion heads are the part kept in frame and the long stems mostly fall away. Black stitching outlines the hem and sleeve against the mauve, which is a sharper finish than the rest of this print family uses and makes the top read as the daywear piece of the set.
