The dandelion seeds were drawn drifting upward on this panel, following the line a curtain already draws on a wall, so the eye travels with the fabric rather than across it. Mauve behaves differently on sheer cloth than on bedding: backlit, it warms toward pink, which is why the seeds were kept white for contrast. The mood is light and airy.
