The story behind this design
This dinosaur is built from round, unthreatening shapes: a dome of a back, stubby legs, a tail that curves rather than whips. The blue is a mid teal with a slightly chalky finish, warmed by a pale belly and a single dark eye that does all the expression. Nothing about the creature snarls, and that is the design decision the whole drawing rests on.
