The story behind this design
The elephant is drawn as a baby rather than a scaled-down adult, so the head is oversized, the ears are round and the legs are short and stubby. Keeping the line weight thick and even is what makes it legible at toddler-tee scale from across a room. The feeling is gentle and friendly, which is why this DipaliZ design doubles as a baby shower present.
