The story behind this design

The fox is drawn sitting upright with the guitar held across its body, its ears angled back as though mid-chord, and the tail curled round to close the composition. The russet of the animal was set against a warm brown and a cool heather mint deliberately, so the same character reads either woodland or folk-club depending on the shirt. There is no lettering; the animal carries the whole design.
