The story behind this design
A skull with flowers is one of the oldest ideas in art, and this treatment leans on the gentler half of it: the bone is drawn with soft, even line work rather than heavy shadow, and the blooms are given as much space as the skull itself. The result reads as a meditation on impermanence instead of a scare. At the largest size the line work opens out and the piece works as a single statement wall.
