The story behind this design
Because the panel is longer than a tee, the florals were drawn to fall rather than repeat: shapes gather at the shoulder and loosen toward the hem. The orange is warm enough to carry a whole dress without a second ground color doing the work. Petals are simplified almost to brush marks, so from across a room the dress reads as color and movement and only resolves into flowers up close.
