The story behind this design
A blanket is looked at from much closer than a wall print, so this scene was drawn with more going on in it than the pillow patterns in the same range. Reindeer, a snowman and strings of decoration are arranged as a tableau rather than a repeat, which rewards the person who ends up under it for an evening. The plush pile softens the printed edges slightly, so the palette was pushed a little warmer to compensate.
