The story behind this design
Confetti is a pattern with no structure at all, which is the hardest kind to draw deliberately: scatter it evenly and it turns into a texture, clump it and it looks like a mistake. The solution here is density that varies slowly across the whole width, so on a made bed there are quieter areas and busier ones and the eye has somewhere to go.
