The story behind this design
A sleepwear print has to survive being seen in bad light at six in the morning, so this one is built on a mid-pink ground with the flowers only a shade or two away from it. The pattern is drawn with a geometric underpinning — the blooms sit on a loose diagonal lattice — which is why it reads as calm rather than busy. Brushed polyester takes the color slightly soft, and the design was made for that.
