The story behind this design
Foliage does most of the work here and the flowers are the punctuation: green leaves crowd the field while pink and blue blooms appear at intervals, which stops the pattern settling into wallpaper. Running it the full length of a dress lets whole stems read from hem to shoulder rather than being cropped at a seam. The lightweight polyester keeps the print saturated without adding weight.
