The story behind this design

The Keep Calm construction has been run into the ground everywhere except, oddly, the laboratory, which is where it belongs — the whole profession is composure under conditions that do not warrant it. The lab coat is drawn flat and buttoned, more diagram than garment, with the lettering stacked above it. True Royal is the pick of the three: it gives the white coat somewhere bright to sit.
