The flowers are drawn open and oversized in flat white, each one big enough to run off the edge of the panel. Electric blue behind them is pushed as far as a print can go, so the contrast does all the work. There is no third color anywhere in the artwork, which is unusual for a floral and is why this one reads as graphic rather than pretty.
