About This Item
The DipaliZ Palm Trees Gallery Canvas Wrap is a framed canvas print of a palm tree scene. The artwork is printed on 100% cotton fabric canvas and wrapped over a frame, so the piece hangs as an object rather than as a sheet behind glass. The canvas measures 14 inches by 11 inches in a horizontal format and is offered with a black, walnut or white frame. Nothing covers the surface, so the canvas weave stays visible in the light.

The story behind this design
The palms in this piece are painted from below, so the fronds cut across a bright sky in long overlapping blades and the trunks lean out of frame. The colour is pitched warm and high, with greens pushed towards yellow and the sky left almost bleached, the way midday actually looks near the coast rather than the way postcards render it. The mood is unhurried, and on canvas the texture adds a slight haze that suits the heat of the subject.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is this DipaliZ palm trees print on paper?
A: No. This is a gallery canvas wrap, so the image is printed on 100% cotton fabric canvas stretched over a frame, not on poster paper.
Q: What size is the palm trees canvas?
A: The canvas is offered in one size, 14 inches by 11 inches, in a horizontal format.
Q: What frame colours are available?
A: The canvas wrap is available with a black, walnut or white frame.
Q: Does the canvas need glass in front of it?
A: No. A gallery canvas wrap is displayed open, with no glazing over the surface, which is part of why the colour reads so directly.
Care
- Dust the canvas surface with a dry, soft brush or cloth
- Do not use water or cleaning sprays on the canvas
- Hang away from direct sunlight and humid walls
