About This Item
The DipaliZ Starfish Fishes Quilt is a printed bed quilt in 100% polyester. The artwork spreads starfish and small fish across the surface in blues and mixed brights, a shoal scattered rather than arranged in rows. Polyester keeps the quilt light for its size and means it dries quickly after washing. Four sizes are listed, from 68 by 88 inches for a twin bed up to 104 by 88 inches for a king, with an 88 by 88 inch square option for a full or queen.

The story behind this design
The composition treats the bed as open water. Starfish sit heavy and still while the fish are drawn mid-turn, so the eye travels between anchored points and moving ones the way it does looking into a real shallow. The colours are pushed brighter than nature allows, which is a deliberate choice for bedding that has to hold its own in a room rather than disappear into it.
