The story behind this design
Geometry was the obvious answer to a card that has to work for every occasion. Flat shapes overlap in a limited palette, with no figure, no message and nothing seasonal to date it, so the same design still fits in March and in December. The overlaps are where the colour comes from, which keeps the artwork interesting without giving it a subject.
