The story behind this design
Flowers are printed at close to life scale so single blooms wrap the toe box and the quarter panel rather than repeating as a small ditsy. Colour runs hot — corals, magentas and strong greens — against a pale canvas ground that keeps the shoe from looking heavy. Because the print continues over the seams, no two panels show the same part of the artwork.
