Elegant Gold Diya
About This Item
An elegant gold diya on a soft tonal ground gives this DipaliZ Diwali card its character. The card is paper, 5 by 7 inches, folded in vertical format, and sold in packs of 1, 10, 30 and 50. Two paper finishes are offered, coated on both sides and matte. It sits between the bare minimal card and the patterned mandala cards in the same family. All measurements and options described here come from this page.

The story behind this design
The lamp is the same shape used across the DipaliZ gold diya cards, but here it is set on a graded background rather than flat color, so the glow appears to come off the page. The gold is kept to one value instead of being shaded, which holds the design closer to a printed emblem than an illustration. It is the version that reads best at a distance.

Care
Keep the cards flat and dry before writing. Both finishes take ballpoint and gel ink cleanly. Store unused cards in their packaging, away from direct sunlight.
