The story behind this design
The lotus here is drawn as geometry rather than botany: petals reduced to straight gold facets radiating from a single point, held inside a thin ruled frame. The palette stays to two notes, warm metallic gold against an unbroken ground, which is why the card reads as formal rather than festive-loud. It was drawn to sit on a mantelpiece without shouting.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is printed on the DipaliZ Diwali Lotus card?
A: A gold-toned geometric lotus, drawn as faceted petals inside a thin ruled border.
Q: Which paper finishes can I choose?
A: Four: coated on both sides, coated on one side, matte, and uncoated.
Q: Can I use this card for occasions other than Diwali?
A: Yes. The card is blank inside with no festival wording printed on it, so it works as a wedding, birthday or thank-you card too.
Q: Is the gold on this card foil?
A: The gold is printed as part of the artwork rather than applied as a metallic foil layer.
Care
Write on uncoated stock with any pen; on coated stock give ink a few seconds to set before closing the card. Keep unused cards flat in their sleeve, and store them out of damp rooms so the paper edges stay crisp.
