About This Item
The Diwali Mandala Oil Lamp Indoor Wall Tapestry is a printed fabric wall hanging carrying original DipaliZ artwork. The design places a lit oil lamp, or diya, at the center of a radiating mandala. This tapestry comes in two landscape sizes: 80" × 68" and 104" × 88". DipaliZ made it for Diwali decorating and for puja rooms, meditation corners and festival backdrops.

The story behind this design
The lamp is the only warm thing in the composition. Its flame is drawn small, barely larger than the wick, and everything outward from it — the petal rings, the dotted borders, the fine rays — is tuned a step cooler, so the eye keeps returning to the center. At the larger size the outermost ring runs nearly to the hem, which makes the piece work as a backdrop rather than as a framed image.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What does the artwork show?
A: The DipaliZ Diwali Mandala tapestry shows a lit oil lamp, called a diya, at the center of a radiating mandala.
Q: What sizes are available?
A: Two landscape sizes are offered: 80" × 68" and 104" × 88".
Q: Is this suitable as a Diwali backdrop?
A: Yes. Both sizes are wide, and the largest runs the mandala almost to the hem, which is what makes it work as a festival backdrop.
Q: How is this different from the DipaliZ Bohemian Mandala Wall Tapestry?
A: This one centers on a lit diya and comes in two large landscape sizes. The bohemian version is a floral mandala in earthy tones and comes in four sizes, portrait and landscape.
Q: Is this made for indoor use?
A: Yes. It is an indoor wall tapestry.
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent, then let the tapestry dry fully before rehanging. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the printed colors.
