The story behind this design
This version drops the colored ground entirely: the dogs are drawn on a pale, almost white strip, so the collar reads as a light band against a dark coat. The figures are more varied than on the teal collar, each dog in a different stance. Without a background color the line work has to carry the design, which it does by staying bold and simple.
