The story behind this design
The hay bale is drawn deliberately out of proportion — wider than the animal and tipping forward — so the gag lands before any lettering is read. The donkey's legs are short and braced, and its ears point flat back, which is the only piece of body language the drawing needs. Brown was included as a colorway because on it the hay almost disappears, leaving only the very tired face.
