The story behind this design
The floral artwork is drawn loosely rather than botanically, with stems that look gathered rather than arranged, which is why it suits a market bag more than a gift bag. Printing it on undyed natural canvas leaves the background the color of the cloth itself, so the flowers sit in the weave instead of on top of a block of ink.
