The story behind this design
Line art on a dark shirt has one enemy, which is line weight: too fine and it breaks up in the print, too heavy and the drawing turns into a stencil. This hand was drawn at a single consistent weight and the leaf given slightly fewer internal veins than a real one has, so the interior of the drawing stays open.
