About This Item
Marble veining runs across this DipaliZ ceramic photo tile, a 6 by 8 inch glazed wall panel. Fine gray and warm gold veins branch over a pale ground, drawn to cross the tile rather than sit inside it. The marble tile is offered with a glossy finish or a matte finish. A marble-pattern tile suits bathrooms, dressing tables and quiet wall groupings. The size, finishes and material given here come from this tile's own specification.

The story behind this design
Real marble veins never stop at an edge, and that is the whole difficulty of printing marble onto a small rectangle. This design runs its main veins straight off all four sides, so the tile behaves like a piece cut from something larger rather than a self-contained picture. The gold branches are kept thin and sparse, because heavy gilding on a pale ground reads as wrapping paper.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size is this DipaliZ ceramic photo tile?
A: The DipaliZ ceramic photo tile measures 6 by 8 inches, and that is the only size offered.
Q: What finishes are available?
A: The tile is offered with a glossy finish or a matte finish.
Q: Is this tile made of real marble?
A: No. The tile is ceramic, with a marble pattern printed onto its glazed face.
Q: Does the veining continue across several tiles?
A: The veins run off all four edges of a single 6 by 8 inch tile, but the pattern is not designed to match up exactly between separate tiles.
Care
Dust the tile with a soft dry cloth and wipe the glazed face with a damp cloth, drying it afterwards; keep abrasive scourers away from the printed surface.
