The story behind this design

Embroidery strips a drawing down to what thread can carry: no gradients, no fine hatching, just shape and stitch direction. DipaliZ redrew the fox for that constraint, letting the tail and the pricked ears do the identifying and setting the russet against a pale ground where it reads from across a room. On the light blue and white colourways in particular, the fox is the only colour on the garment.
