About This Item
The DipaliZ Eucalyptus Notepad is a ruled writing pad with single-sided tear-away pages. The design is a run of eucalyptus sprigs, their round leaves in silvered green. Every sheet is ruled and tears away cleanly from the pad. Eucalyptus is the quietest of the botanical designs, which is why it suits a busy desk.
Product details
- Product type: ruled writing notepad

- The ruling and the tear-away page format above come from this pad's own product record.
The story behind this design
Eucalyptus leaves hang rather than stand, and the drawing follows that: every sprig droops from its stem, so the whole design has a downward drift instead of sitting upright. The green is pulled toward gray with almost no yellow in it, which is the color that makes eucalyptus read as eucalyptus and not as any other leaf.
