This DipaliZ blanket is a minky-finish throw in 100% polyester fleece. Minky is a very short, dense pile with a smooth surface, closer to velvet than to a brushed fleece, and it does not shed. The fall leaf pattern is printed on one face. Three sizes are offered: 30 by 40, 50 by 60 and 60 by 80 inches. The fiber and dimensions above are taken from this blanket's own record.

The story behind this design
Minky holds fine detail better than a brushed fleece does, because the pile is short enough not to blur an edge. That allowed the leaves here to keep their veining — thin interior lines running out from each midrib — which would simply vanish on a fluffier surface. The color sits in a narrow band of warm golds and soft browns, chosen so the veining stays visible rather than being swallowed by contrast.

Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, on its own. Tumble dry low or air dry. Do not bleach and do not iron — heat flattens a minky pile and the mark is permanent. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers and dulls the finish.
