The story behind this design
The skull is drawn head-on and symmetrical, horns spreading past the shoulder line of the graphic, with sunflowers packed into the space between them like a wreath that has been shoved on rather than arranged. Warm golds and a deep rust do the flowers; the skull stays bone-white and lightly stippled so it holds up on the pale colorways. The lettering leans hard on Western sign-painting — slab serifs, uneven baseline — and that tension between prairie skull and cheerful sunflower is the whole idea.
