The story behind this design
This artwork keeps the brush marks visible, so the flowers read as painted rather than photographed. Stems run diagonally across the square, which gives the eye somewhere to travel when four napkins are laid out around a table. The greens are pushed slightly blue to stop the whole thing turning sweet.
