The story behind this design

Watercolor leaves white paper showing through, and this print keeps that: the stems trail off into dry-brush strokes and the petals are pale enough that the fabric reads through them. Cornflower, poppy and a few seed heads make up the bouquet, loosely tied rather than composed. The pale Butter and Chambray colorways suit it better than a dark base would, which is why the range is built that way.
