About This Item
The DipaliZ Pastel Floral Ceramic Photo Tile is a ceramic wall tile measuring 6 inches by 8 inches, listed in a Glossy or a Matte finish. The artwork is an original pastel pink flower pattern printed onto the ceramic surface. The tile is sold as small wall art for a kitchen, a bathroom or a shelf rather than as a coaster. It is the smallest piece of hanging art DipaliZ makes.

The story behind this design
Ceramic does something to pink that paper cannot: the glaze lifts the lighter tones and lets the pale petals read as almost white without disappearing. The pattern is built from small open blooms on a cream ground, scaled so a 6 by 8 inch tile holds a complete repeat rather than a crop of one. In the Matte finish the same artwork reads chalky and older, which is why both finishes are offered rather than one.
