The story behind this design
Blossom is drawn here as branches rather than as a scatter of petals: dark twiggy stems enter from the corners and carry clusters of five-petalled flowers along their length, so the eye follows the growth instead of drifting. The pinks are kept pale and slightly cool, closer to the real thing than to candy, and the buds are left small and tight-closed beside the open flowers. Blossom lasts about a fortnight a year, which is most of the appeal of putting it on something you keep.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Are the pages ruled?
A: Yes. The DipaliZ Cherry Blossom Spiral Notebook has ruled pages throughout.
Q: How is the notebook bound?
A: It is spiral bound along one edge, so it opens flat on a desk.
Q: Is there a size to choose?
A: No. This notebook is sold in a single size.
Q: Is the cover cherry blossom or cherry fruit?
A: Blossom. This cover shows flowering branches. The DipaliZ Cherry Wreath notebook is the one with the fruit on it.
Q: Would this suit a teacher or student gift?
A: Yes. Ruled pages and a spiral binding make it a practical school notebook, and the blossom cover keeps it from looking like standard stationery.
Care
Keep the DipaliZ Cherry Blossom Spiral Notebook dry and out of direct sunlight so the pale pinks do not fade. Store it upright rather than at the bottom of a bag, which protects the spiral.
