The story behind this design
The roses are painted wet, so each bloom bleeds slightly at its edge and no two flowers hold the same outline. The palette stays within three pinks and a grey-green leaf, which keeps the print quiet enough to sleep under rather than decorative for its own sake. Large areas of unprinted white between the blooms do most of the work, giving the bed room to breathe.
