About This Item
The DipaliZ vintage rose mouse pad is a small rectangular pad printed with pastel roses on a dark green ground. One size is sold, 9" x 7", which is sized for a mouse rather than a keyboard. Dark green behind pale roses gives the design more contrast than a floral on white would have. This DipaliZ pad suits a desk that wants one decorative object rather than a whole themed setup. The size and shape are taken from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design
Painting roses against dark green rather than a pale ground is a Victorian habit, and it is what makes this design read as vintage rather than merely floral. The blooms stay pastel while the background does the heavy lifting. The mood is quiet and slightly formal, a flower design with the volume turned down.
