DipaliZ Botanical Bloom Hardcover Journal Matte Cover

This DipaliZ journal is a hardcover writing journal with a matte cover, printed with a botanical bloom design. One size is offered. The cover artwork is drawn as a plant study rather than a decorative floral. A DipaliZ botanical journal suits a desk where it will sit closed more often than open, and still needs to look right there.

The story behind this design

This cover borrows from herbarium plates: a single specimen, drawn with its stem and leaves intact, positioned slightly off centre with empty space where a label would sit. Line work carries the design and colour is used sparingly, which is why it reads as serious rather than pretty. Against a matte cover the restraint is the whole effect.
